Ninja Belt

Ninja Belt is a mobility upgrade that grants your character the ability to perform wall jumps — leaping off vertical surfaces to gain height and change direction mid-air. This advanced movement technique opens up new vertical routes and provides escape options that are not available with standard movement.

How It Works

When equipped with the Ninja Belt, pressing the jump button while touching a wall causes your character to kick off the surface and launch in the opposite direction. Wall jumps can be chained repeatedly by alternating between two parallel walls, effectively allowing you to climb vertical shafts by bouncing back and forth. Each wall jump provides a small boost of height, and with good timing, you can ascend indefinitely as long as two walls are close enough together.

The wall jump also provides horizontal momentum away from the wall, which can be used to cross gaps, dodge enemy projectiles, or reposition during combat. The kick-off is fast and responsive, making it feel natural once you develop the muscle memory.

Cost and Availability

Ninja Belt is priced in the mid-range Sheckles bracket and appears with moderate frequency in Mart rotations. It is typically purchased by players who already have core mobility like Double Jump and want to expand their movement toolkit with more advanced options.

Tier Ranking: B

Ninja Belt earns a B-tier ranking because it provides powerful but specialized mobility. In rooms with parallel walls, vertical shafts, or narrow corridors, wall jumping is an incredible tool that can bypass entire sections. In open rooms or areas without suitable walls, the Ninja Belt provides no benefit at all. The skill requirement is also higher than most upgrades — wall jumping demands good timing and spatial awareness. For skilled players who can execute it consistently, Ninja Belt is easily A-tier. For average players, B-tier is a fair assessment.

Best Synergies

  • Double Jump: Wall jump, then use your second jump in mid-air for a triple-movement combo that covers extreme distances both vertically and horizontally.
  • Adrenaline: Wall jump near enemies to trigger Adrenaline, then chain wall jumps with the speed boost to climb or traverse at incredible speed.
  • Grace Wings: Wall jump, then glide to extend your air time and find the next wall or platform. This combination makes vertical exploration feel fluid.
  • Shield: Wall jumping near enemies puts you in harm's way. Shield absorbs any hits from enemies adjacent to the wall, letting you wall jump freely in dangerous areas.

Tips

Practice wall jump chaining in safe rooms before using it in combat or hazard zones. The timing window is forgiving but requires consistency to maintain height. Focus on pressing jump at the exact moment you contact the wall — too early and you get a ground jump instead, too late and you start sliding down. Mastering this rhythm is the key to getting full value from the Ninja Belt.
